We don't just cover rock & metal — we document it for the record.
How Rock On Record came to be
Rock On Record was born out of a simple belief: the stories happening right now in rock and metal music are just as important as the legends that came before them.
Based in Sacramento, California, we started with a camera at local shows and festivals. Our first interview — Norman L. Skinner III of Forbidden — set the tone for everything that followed: raw, real, and respectful of the artists and the art.
Since then, we've captured history at Aftershock, Inkcarceration, Welcome to Rockville, Cruel World, ShipRocked, Summer of Loud, Sonic Temple, and beyond. From mosh pits to backstage moments, from legendary acts to rising stars — if it's making rock history, we're recording it.
Norman L. Skinner III of Forbidden sits down with Denise for our inaugural Rock On Record interview.
Coverage across Cruel World, ShipRocked, Summer of Loud, Inkcarceration, and more — 23+ videos captured.
Our hometown festival in Sacramento. We've been tracking returning acts and building connections for deep coverage.
More interviews, more festivals, more history. The timeline keeps growing with every show.
